Questions
Is the redaction really permanent?
Yes. Pages with redactions are re-rendered as images with the boxes burned in, so the original text underneath is gone, not just covered. Those pages are no longer text-selectable.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is processed on your own device and never sent to our servers.
